Beyond being the initials of our names, SALT accurately describes the synchronization between us, the field we operate in, and the space in which we have settled.
Fine SALT is extracted by skilled hands through unique and meticulous processes, much like the objects we are crafting at our workshop. SALT is an essential element for balance, and when used properly, it becomes a vital component of a life full of taste.
Since we met at the academy, our narrative-based and artistic approach has led us to develop parallel bodies of work, both blurring the boundaries between art and design. All of our objects are hand-made in our workshop as unique pieces or limited editions.
Through a constantly changing scenography of our space, we create a dialogue between our crafted objects, carefully selected design masterpieces, and outstanding works of art from local private collections. Together, they aim to inspire SALT visitors to expand their knowledge of collecting and surround themselves with timeless pieces. Our clientele also benefits from the opportunity to create bespoke projects together, from ideas through sketches & concepts to the final stage of installing site-specific artworks that tell the story of mutual journeys.
SALT is housed in a stunning 18th-century Ottoman space, located at the entrance to the Old Jaffa alleys – Tel Aviv's artist colony. After years of abandonment, we renovated this architectural gem, which has held an archive of important private art collections since the 70s. The fresh and vibrant platform honors the building's artistic heritage by showcasing striking kinetic works integrated into our display.
